Fallon is the new Conan... and Conan will be the new Leno.

oh, I meant weird in a great way.

And where have you been Ben?? Under a rock? Yeah, Jimmy Fallon is the new Conan.

"Fallon is the new Conan... and Conan will be the new Leno."

Only in the timeslot sense, right? In my opinion, Conan is awesome. Leno and Fallon are not.

I 2nd that emotion Cody. Fallon is clearly the new Sinbad, but without Sinbads charm and talent. Is referencing Sinbads talk show showing my advanced age?

Sinbad had a talk show?

Was he ever in a Disney movie?

Disney movies from the 90's would be your dept. Late night talk shows from the 90's would be mine.

I was getting already to diss on Fallon myself, before watching the video. You see, I've never really been a fan of Fallon, but that interview and sketch that I just watched was actually entertaining. Although, it was mostly Micheal Emerson, whoever is writing for Fallon and decided that Emerson should read that story "creepy" is pretty damn funny.

Either way, Late Night tv is getting close to fucking up big time.

I like Letterman, 'cause of my dad.

Letterman is waaaay funnier then Leno.

But then again, we have the same dad.

Fallon has some good writers working for him, including A.D. Miles and anthony Jeselnik (sp?). The writing is fine. But Fallon's habit of constantly laughing during everything he does totally grates on my nerves on his talk show (though I didn't seem to hate it on SNL as much as everyone else.) He' also just really bad at interviewing folks. Though maybe I'm being unfair, considering I've only seen his show twice. Maybe he'll get better.

Speaking of late night TV in the 90's, I used to beg my sister to stay up and watch Arsinio Hall with me. I specifically remember a bit about "which came first, the can opener or the can?" And thinking it was the funniest shit ever when I was like, 10 years old.

Yeah, Fallon has huge shoes to fill. Cody, I never noticed that he is constantly laughing, but now that you mention it, that's right, and that is annoying... I saw a good skit the other day where he had the #1 college quarterback on there (don't know enough to know his name or care) and Jimmy was throwing plates into the air that the QB was throwing footballs at and breaking in mid-air, like a trap shoot. It was pretty damn cool.

I just hope Conan doesn't "tone down" his act when he goes to the more mainstream tonight show.

I guess talking about late night show hosts is tiding us over this week while Lost is off the air?
