The Package

Man, Jin didn't even TRY to hide in the bathroom. He just made sure he was lookin' good when that door opened! I was so disappointed his didn't greet that guy with a karate chop to the neck. He's still taking orders from Mr. Paik, and he blew it by not declaring that wad of cash in customs. Now Keamy's pissed, but that works out for us, because then we get to see the Mad Russian himself, Mikail. With two eyes!!! (but not for long.)

How about the return to Room 23? Pretty rad.

The Man in Black (Man in Locke, Flocke, Demon Locke, Esau) told Sun that he needed Kate because he was 3 people short of geting of the island and she can help get those people. Who do you think she's talking about? My money's on Sawyer, but who else???

Does anyone else remember one of Widmore's cronies as Chip from Kate & Allie? Am I the only one who remembers Kate & Allie?

And then there's the not so shocking, but still totally rad return of Desmond. I bet getting drugged then pulled of a submarine, and hanging off the dock and looking into the beautiful brown eyes of a Mer-Man Sayid would be pretty trippy.

By the way, you ladies can thank me for taking that screenshot of Jin. Special thanks to Brandi and Gabba for letting me interrupt America's Funniest Home Videos long enough to do so.

Spring Break Al is the first to comment!!!

Umh, I'm not sure what to say except that it was fun watching Lost with people on the night it airs instead of on a computer screen the day after. I was really hoping that it was Walt in the sub. If they want to blow some minds, drag back Walt somehow.

Also, is that bad guy who told Jin he was hired to kill him a relation of Christopher Walken? Am I the only one who thinks this?

I think he's the bastard son of Walken and Busey.

Anyone else think shot of Sun's chest was a bit of a too-long linger? Only to be followed up by a second, even longer, shot? Not that we're complaining.

I was a little let down by Desmond, too. But not everyone can be Daniel.

Also, I'm reserving my more thoughtful feedback until after I rewatch the episode.

Not a bad episode. Too much focus on the "alternate reality" storyline. I really do not care about those characters or that storyline. Show more island. In fact, I'd be happy if it showed only island.

Yay for Desmond episode.

By the way - is it going to turn out that Charles Widmore is actually, a GOOD guy? By ensuring that the smoke monster/evil stays on the island he is ensuring the safety of the world and "everyone he loves". Could be interesting to see him turn into a hero rather than a villan.. just like Ben

I thought this was the most consistently entertaining episode of the season. Good writing, good acting, Sun looking hot, Jack acting the shepherd. I'm actually more interested in the alternate reality storylines right now than in the island "mythology" mumbo-jumbo, which feels stiff and repetitive and decidedly un-mysterious.

Amber and I are pretty sure that was a booby double for Sun's breast shot. Also did anyone notice that she had a scar on her lower lip in the hotel scene. She then looked in the mirror, just before the Walken/Busse guy showed up, and noticed it herself and seemed surprised to see it. Also the garden she planted was where she first let it be known that she could speak english (I think right?), also where she stopped speaking it.
Is Desmond's name on the wall? If so is that Widmore's plan to keep Locke on the island; hiding one of the chosen ones there that Locke thinks is gone so that he doesn't have all the pieces he needs to get free? I think smokey's just trying to round em all up on that plane and have Sayid (cause he don't give an eff about ess no more) make it go down so that all the candidates will die, without him killing them, cause there's some sort of dumb rule that says he can't do that, and then he'll be free of his potential captors all in one fell swoop.
Also two things I'm tired of Claire's wig and her lack of Kate killing ability. Come on already!!!

I'm also tired of Claire's inability to wipe dirt off of her face, or her affinity for being dirty.

Claire's wig is a classic LOST wig as is her dirt, classic LOST dirt.

"I am NOT tired of Sun's breasts."
I'll second that.

Barnes approves indeed.

My theory is that the Desmond in the alternate universe is Desmond in the normal universe. I think he's there on a mission.

Gloria Steinem called. She wants her failed career as a feminist back.

Wait a second Charles, so you think Gloria Steinem is sick of Sun's breasts? That's just crazy.

Can we just talk about the story for once?
